We trust in Jesus who is Lord. Jesus is Lord of all. Jesus is our Lord.
Any Questions?
Yes, we believe more than this but everything else stands upon the reality that Jesus is Lord, Master, Savior, the Beginning and End.
We trust in God who created the cosmos and created people, men and women in his image and declared it all very good. However, we went wrong, willfully choosing our own ways. We run and hide yet God faithfully seeks us out. At just the right time, God acted through His Son Jesus to find us and forgive-change-renew our hearts.
Jesus invites us to “Follow Him” and to “Come to me.” Jesus is not a distant, remote person or just an example from the past. He reaches into human lives today by the Holy Spirit and helps men and women to serve in all ministries of the church and share in his mission on earth.
Jesus asks us, “Who do you say I am?” God moved into our neighborhood in Jesus. He proclaimed and demonstrated the kingdom of God. At the will of his Father, led by the Spirit, he was crucified for our sins, reconciling us to God by his sacrifice. God raised him from the dead, vindicating his sinless life and affirming that he was the one Savior/Messiah of all humanity and Head of the Church.
Jesus commanded us, “Go into the entire world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, teaching them all I taught you.” We intentionally reach unchurched people through service and hospitality, help them to yield to God and grow into mature disciples of Jesus through worship, small groups and service.
We trust in the Holy Spirit who convicts people of sin, reveals Jesus and guides Christians into congregations of His choosing. Worship and gratitude are the most basic responses to God’s goodness and salvation. In baptism, God claims us and seals us as his own within the Christian community. At the Lord’s Table, we encounter the living Christ and celebrate his sign and seal of communion with him and with all believers.
We believe the Holy Spirit inspired the Bible and it is infallible, useful, essential and sufficient in our understanding of God, salvation, spirituality and conduct of life.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
